About Tim Woodfield
Tim Woodfield started his career in engineering and mechanics. He then joined West Midlands Fire Service where he worked as a fire fighter, then officer and trainer for nearly 20 years. He went on to complete the NEBOSH General Certificate in Construction Site Safety and Fire Risk Assessment and obtained membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. He then moved into the construction sector where he worked for 5 years as a health and safety consultant for large developers specialising in various refurbishment works, road and sewer works. As a natural communicator he has conducted fire safety and CDM training courses and is also qualified to undertake first aid training, manual handling training, scaffolding training and asbestos awareness training. He joined Southall Associates in 2008 where he continues his role specialising in fire safety and construction site safety.
