About Nick Bruton
Nick is a fully qualified Environmental Health Officer with over 11 years experience specialising in health and safety, food safety and food standards legislation.
He holds a BSc degree in Environmental Health from Manchester Metropolitan University and completed the IOSH accredited post graduate Diploma in Occupational Health, Safety & Environment at the University of Birmingham. He is a member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH).
He has worked for both Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council and Wolverhampton City Council in the industrial heartland of the Midlands.
His experience includes health and safety and food safety inspections and advice in addition to major accident investigations, handling workplace safety complaints, and dealing with food poisoning, food labelling and composition breaches. With further experience in delivery of accredited training, Nick’s friendly and positive approach combined with his practical enforcement experience and knowledge ensures a commercially sensible approach to advising clients
